Amulya Pattali is a Patent Engineer, and having passed the U.S. Patent Bar, has been granted limited recognition to practice before the USPTO. Her technical areas of expertise include electrical and computer engineering. She earned her Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical & Electronics engineering from the University of Calicut, India in 2007 and Master of Technology degree in Power Electronics from the National Institute of Technology, Calicut, India in 2009. She then earned her M.S. degree in electrical and computer engineering (ECE) in 2013 from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) where she specialized in VLSI and Digital Design. Her master’s thesis is related to the design and implementation of polyphase boost converter with digital control and involved simulation and hardware implementation.
Amulya has experience in patent preparation and prosecution, particularly in the fields of electrical and computer engineering dealing with communications technology including radio networks, mobile devices, mobile network infrastructure and cable modem networks, signal encoders and decoders, microprocessor related circuits and architecture, power electronics, battery charging systems, filtration systems, integrated circuits, chip designs, and memory devices.
Prior to joining the firm, she worked as Business Technology Analyst with Deloitte Consulting LLP from 2009 to 2010. She also held the position of Power Electronics Intern with the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing in India where she was involved with a research project for the design and implementation of fuel cell power conditioning system.
