Eschweiler and Potashnik, LLC is currently looking to hire a Patent Attorney with a background in electrical or computer engineering for full-time employment.  The Patent Attorney will be involved in preparing and prosecuting patent applications for a number of international high-tech clients.  In general, the position involves many aspects of patent law, including drafting and prosecuting patent applications before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO).  Industry experience and/or an advanced technical degree is a plus.


Patent Agent

Eschweiler & Potashnik, LLC (Cleveland, OH) seeking Registered Patent Agent to assist a licensed patent attorney in assessing whether electrical engineering related inventions are new and innovative and therefore eligible to be patented. Eschweiler and Potashnik, LLC is currently looking to hire a Patent Engineer with a background in electrical or computer engineering for full-time employment.  The Patent Engineer will be involved in preparing and prosecuting patent applications for a number of international high-tech clients, under the guidance of a registered Patent Practitioner.  In general, the position involves many aspects of patent law, including drafting and prosecuting patent applications before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO).  This an entry-level position with no previous patent or legal experience necessary.  Excellent writing and communication skills and a strong desire to learn are required for this position.  Industry experience and/or an advanced technical degree is a plus.
